About

Tshiki & Associates Inc. was founded in March 2015 under the leadership of Mr. Kayaletu Tshiki. The Firm is fully black owned and was started to address challenges within the Eastern Cape and Gauteng.

One of these challenges is that there are very few young, black owned law firms in these Provinces that deal with highly specialized areas of law such as: Conveyancing, Commercial Law, Land Disputes, Constitutional and High Court Litigation, Employment, Partnership, Shareholder, Sale and Purchase, Lease, Contracts and Mediation.

We are committed to developing highly specialised, legal practitioners and creating employment opportunities for local law graduates within the province.

Our dedication to expansion is evidenced through our current offices located in: Buffalo City District Municipality | also known as East London (Emonti), Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality | formally known as Queenstown and City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality | formally known as Johannesburg. Two offices in the Eastern Cape and one in Gauteng.

Internship Program

Internship Program July 2025

Each year, our organisation hosts final-year law students from a range of universities for a structured two-week practical training programme, held once per semester. During this period, students gain hands-on experience in key areas of legal practice. Upon successful completion of the programme, participants are awarded a Certificate of Completion in recognition of their engagement and learning.

In addition We have been incorporated and registered with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), in terms of the South African Companies Act, 2008 with Registration No.: 2018/600344/21.
